Theory of Wing Sections: Including a Summary of Airfoil Data (Dover Books on Physics) By Ira H. Abbott, A. E. von Doenhoff
Book Description: Concise compilation of subsonic aerodynamic characteristics of NACA wing sections, plus description of theory. 350 pages of tables. Summary: Good Book Rating: 4 I found this book very interesting and complete although it is VERY technical and i recommend it for only those who know a lot about the theme Summary: A Classic Rating: 5
Summary: Review of the book "Theory of Wing Sections" Rating: 5 To Whom it May Conccern. Summary: Difficult, but complete Rating: 4 I bought this book mostly as a reference. As such, I have not worked through much of it. Mathematically, the authors hold nothing back from the theory of fluid dynamics--as such, it's not an easy book to work through, but doable with patience. But, it certainly appears to all be there, if/when you may need it. Summary: WING SECTIONS Rating: 3 The book contains much theoretical material. I did not find it practical for the application that I needed and that is the application of wing sections to motor racing cars. |
