The Geometrical Tolerancing Desk Reference: Creating and Interpreting ISO Standard Technical Drawings By Paul Green
Book Description: Geometrical tolerancing is the standard technique that designers and engineers use to specify and control the form, location and orientation of the features of components and manufactured parts. This innovative book has been created to simplify and codify the use and understanding of geometrical tolerancing. It is a complete, self contained reference for daily use. An indispensable guide for anyone who creates or needs to understand technical drawings. Summary: This book was exactly what I needed. Rating: 5 The visual examples and clear organization of this book made it very easy for me to understand even to most complex geometric tolerancing situations. Highly recommended. Summary: Best book for geometric tolerancing Rating: 5 This is the best book on the market. I have bought other books in the past but found them of little use. I am a freelance draftsman and to be honest I never really understood geometric tolerancing, I even know of other draftsmen who bluff or copy the tolerances from previously made drawings. Not any more, in fact the book was so clear that I can even spot mistakes on other peoples drawings. The only down side to the book is that I didn't have it ten years ago. |
